Lower back pain- HELP PLEASE!!!?

For the past few weeks (5 weeks to be precise) I have been experiencing pain on my left side and back. I went to the doctors and they gave me some pain relievers. The doctors thought it was just a muscle spasm/strain. The pain pills helped take away the pain, but the problem still persisted. I do have Ulcerative Colitis (which is inflammation of the colon), which I have been diagnosed with about 6-7 months ago, but kept it pretty much under control. So since 5 weeks ago my pain has been getting worse. I went to the doctor again 2 weeks ago and they thought if it wasn't a muscle strain it's something with my colon (since I do have Ulcerative Colitis) and they gave me enemas (which is like a medication you put up your rectum to help your colon), which I have been taking until Monday (since they only prescribed me to take it for the 2 weeks). The enemas have only worked for a week. I went to the doctors again yesterday and they ran some tests like blood work and a cat scan of my lower stomach/back. I would really like to know what's wrong with me, since I don't get my test results back for another week. I am 64 if that's help, since I am old.
