Do Republicans /Cons want Qaddafi to slaughter his own people?

We do not need to be the world police. He said he wanted Qaddafi gone yet he said we would not put boots on the ground. We now have boots on the ground and we will have to go to war to take out Qaddafi. Otherwise he will just gain control of his people again and keep killing. With that being said, Do we need to get into another war. Our economy is on the brink we are broke and what about all the other countries who are rising up against their government. I believe the Arabs need to take this on not us at this time.
