Do you think he likes me or not :)?

so the basic story is that when we first got to know each other he was kind of a jerk and then when we started talking and my friends made friends with his then we would talk more - not all the time but more. Then this guy said something mean to me and he totally had my back and yet it was his friend. Hes walked me to the train station once and waited with me till he had to go and i catch him staring at me all the time and when i look at him he doesnt even look away. This one time he fell out with my friend and all he seemed bothered about was if i was mad at him. He leans on me instead of our friends and he offers for me to use his phone if i ever need it. Urmm what else:- oh yeh! i was sittin on the edge of a bench this one time and he pretended to push me off before saying that he never to that to me emphasysing the never part. He's smacked my twice - but then so has his best friend. I caught him staring at me the last time i was on a ride at a fair. and oh wow he's just insanely yummy and i dont know what to do but ever since we've met it seems like i just keep trying to push myself away from him and think of his flaws. HELP
